TEETH / NOSE
Teeth
The American Hairless Terrier has a complete set of good sized, evenly spaced, white teeth. A scissors bite is preferred but a level bite is acceptable.
Nose
The nose is black or self-colored.
Fault: Butterfly nose.
Nose pigment can help you determine the color genetics of your dog. Genetically black dogs have black noses and genetically red dogs have red noses. A black nose on a red dog is a "red flag" that the dog is not really red but is either a yellow or sable.
